Overview
NETWORK FOR
TEEN NONPROFITS THAT ARE
CHANGING THE WORLD.
Giving real value to REAL impact.
ZeroProfit is an ecosystem built by the OpenRockets Foundation to provide youth-led nonprofits —, those started by high school and university students under 19 — with professional-grade infrastructure, measurable credibility, and a transparent ranking system that distinguishes genuine community impact from paper organizations.
Every year, thousands of young people launch nonprofits to address real problems in their communities. But without institutional backing, they all look the same on paper — indistinguishable from organizations created solely for college applications. ZeroProfit changes that.
We provide each registered nonprofit with a dedicated subdomain (e.g., yourclub.zeroprofit.org), a 5 GB email inbox, and access to an integrated suite of tools designed to track, verify, and elevate their work.
Through our Impact Factor Score — a transparent, multi-pillar evaluation system — we quantify the real-world engagement and growth of every organization on the platform. This score is publicly visible on the ZeroProfit Leaderboard, updated continuously, and built on verifiable data from integrated services.
ZeroProfit is not just a domain registrar. It is a complete identity layer for youth-led nonprofits: a professional home, a suite of tools, and a system that proves to admissions officers, donors, and communities that the work being done is authentic and meaningful. Currently available: Domain Registration and Email Hosting. Additional services are rolling out on a continuous basis.

Impact Measurement
The Impact Leaderboard.
How It Works
Every nonprofit on the ZeroProfit platform receives a publicly visible Impact Factor Score — a composite metric derived from four independent Verification Pillars. This score is displayed on our Impact Leaderboard, updated continuously, and designed to distinguish organizations that are actively building real community value.
The score uses a tiered progression system. As organizations grow, they advance through tiers that unlock additional capabilities on the platform. The system is built to reward genuine, sustained engagement — not gameable shortcuts.
Verification Pillars
- Integrated Services — Activity across OpenRockets Forums, Press, and platform tools (up to 30% intensity)
- Ad Shares Network — Participation in the nonprofit advertising ecosystem (up to 30% intensity)
- ZeroProfit Links — Tracked link engagement with bot-resistant verification (up to 10% intensity)
- Social Verification — Verified follower growth across connected platforms (coming soon)
ZeroProfit Links
Every nonprofit can generate tracked links under zeroprofit.org/link/ — shareable across WhatsApp, Discord, social media, or anywhere online. When visitors click these links, they are redirected to the specified destination while the platform records verified, bot-filtered engagement data. Link contribution is capped by tier level to prevent gaming.
OpenRockets Ad Shares
A closed advertising network exclusively for ZeroProfit nonprofits. Organizations create free advertisements from their dashboard at adshares.openrockets.com. Any website on the internet can volunteer to display these nonprofit ads — and after reaching a contribution threshold, external collaborators earn the right to display their own promotions within the network. This creates a self-sustaining advertising ecosystem that benefits nonprofits without requiring any monetary investment.
Tier Progression
Organizations progress through tiers based on their cumulative Impact Factor Score. Each tier unlocks expanded capabilities: higher link quotas, increased advertising slots, and greater platform visibility. The system ensures that as a nonprofit grows its real-world presence, the platform grows with it — providing tools proportional to demonstrated commitment.
Ecosystem
The Network.
Integrated · Transparent · Growing
ZeroProfit is not a single product — it is an interconnected ecosystem where every service feeds into a unified Impact Factor Score. When a nonprofit creates a forum post, shares a link, publishes an artifact on Press, or runs an ad campaign, each action is measured, verified, and reflected in their public standing on the Impact Leaderboard.
This creates a virtuous cycle: the more genuinely a nonprofit engages with its community, the higher it ranks. Schools, donors, and admissions officers can reference these scores as independent, third-party verification of a student organization's legitimacy and activity level.
All services are designed to be completely free for nonprofits. ZeroProfit sustains itself through the OpenRockets Foundation, ensuring that financial barriers never prevent a young person from building something meaningful.

About
The Foundation.
OpenRockets Foundation
ZeroProfit is built and maintained by the OpenRockets Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating open, accessible infrastructure for youth-led initiatives worldwide. The Foundation operates multiple integrated services — including OpenRockets Forums, OpenRockets Press, and OpenRockets Ad Shares — all designed to empower the next generation of community leaders.
Our mission is simple: remove every barrier between a young person's ambition and their ability to create lasting impact. Whether that means providing a domain, hosting their creative work, or proving their credibility to the world — we build the tools that make it possible.
Why This Matters
Right now, a student who spent two years building a tutoring program for underserved communities looks identical on paper to someone who registered a domain name last week. College admissions officers, scholarship committees, and community leaders have no reliable way to distinguish genuine impact from surface-level credential building.
ZeroProfit exists to solve this problem — not through subjective reviews or self-reported metrics, but through verifiable, data-driven evidence of real community engagement. Every score on our Impact Leaderboard is earned through measurable activity, not claims.
We are building the standard by which youth-led nonprofits will be evaluated — and we believe that standard should be transparent, free, and accessible to everyone.
